APPOINTMENT OF NEW DEAN - FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Prof. Surangi G. Yasawardene assumed duties as the new Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 17^th November, 2014. Prof. Yasawardene joined the Faculty of Medical Sciences as a probationary lecturer in Anatomy in 1993. She was promoted to Professor in Anatomy on merit in 2007 and Chair Professor of Anatomy in 2010. She has performed administrative functions as Head, Department of Anatomy from 2001 until she assumed duties as Dean.
