ANNUAL PIRITH CEREMONY
The Annual Pirith Ceremony, conducted for the merit of those who have donated bodies to the Anatomy Department for the purpose of dissection, was held on 21st February, 2015 in the Anatomy Block, followed by an alms giving the following day. This annual all night Pirith Ceremony is held timing the admission of new entrants to the first year of Faculty of Medical Sciences and they are blessed for a very successful university career. The religious activities were attended by a large number of staff and students.
