Laying of the Foundation stone of Phase II Building Extension

The Foundation Stone was laid for the Phase II Building Extension for the Faculty of Medical Sciences on 12^th March 2021 at the auspicious time 9.10 a.m. by Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage, Vice-chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura on the invitation of Snr. Prof. Aloka Pathirana, Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences. This project is funded by AHEAD Project and expansion of student laboratory space for mainly the Departments of Pathology, Microbiology and Parasitology and expansion of student and staff areas are included. The total cost of the project is 157 million.
